i want

"dear god,
i want a job,
i dont want to lose good friends,
i want to add to my list of really good friends,
i want to go to a concert where U2, GnR and aerosmith play in the same night,
i want to feel the happiness of being in love, hmmm.. "I am in love with the idea of being in love"
i want to learn to let go of everything and not hold onto to anything,
i want to watch a live formula one race,
i want to learn to play guitar,
i want to just take off every now and then to some really peaceful place,
i want the patience of a sage,
i want i want i want...........

when i sit down to write things that i want or things people want, i can think million more things than the list above.

Do i feel incomplete? may be. do i feel completely confident of things? may be not.
but the place i stand right now, is it the worst place ever? may be not.

i just feel absolutely selfish to ask so many things. i sometimes feel that being a "creature of circumstance" is something i have become."

hmmmm, that was nice reading my friend. there are people with nothing but just a peice of cloth to wrap themselves up, a street ligtt pole as a backrest, its light their only light, no roof to shelter them from the cold biting life.

(i wanted to put a pic, but seeing how some people suffer, i just don't have the heart to put a pic of a kid who is already half dead due to hunger and poverty. Frankly that would just make me think even more less of myself.)

sometimes i hate God for making people's lives so unequal.

Dear God,
I want to take a looong break, go to Raleigh, buy a long cane and whoop the misery out of this guys ass...

With Love,
Sketcher.

well, about the unequal life style, may be he did it to make us realize how blessed we are even though we think we aren't. And how we can be that wind of change that makes a difference.

If we stop wanting and wishing to achieve something, get something,we will reach stagnation!!!!!Life will become boring if we are content with what we have!I am not advocating greed...thats another extreme...life is all abt balance,my friend.

@stargazer: the video is very insightful

@sketcher: i am glad ur leaving the US! :P . I agree with you, i hope we are the wind of change for someone...if we dont make a happy change in someone's life then the void will still be there!

@sindhu: i will meet u and lets see about the cane :P

@rashmi: I am not saying we should stop wanting or stop asking, i am just saying we are not being useful to other people who are so much into suffering. only when we help others will we get the true satisfaction of having accomplished something! the more we keep asking, the more we have pushed the limit for our happiness, and then it takes a lot to achieve that limit!

Let's pray that the human race never escapes Earth to spread its iniquity elsewhere.

Suggest you read the book - 'The Shack' by William P. Young

True!
Let's make the best of whatever we have got, let's not crib about anything! Let this be a crib-free world! :)

@Anonymous: Thanks for leaving a comment. I agree, the more we explore, the more the chances of us destroying the balance! and the book i shall definitely read sometime.

Its a Game, a Game of life.
I see it this way
1) You just be happy with what you have(Take life as it comes) OR
2)"Be the change you wish to see in this world"(I think this was from MK Gandhi)

So it is the individual who decides.
